Phoebus Jazz Festival Norfolk reviews
The energy of the crowd couldn't be beat. Phoebus Jazz Festival played a crazy long setlist, 36 songs I think, since this was the last stop on the US tour. They busted out some deep tracks (but a couple that should never be played again - Sweet Lew? Really?).
This show was still amazing, even though we had the worst seats ever - 4th level, behind the stage with almost no view of the band.
The sound was muddy and kind of disappointing. This was my first time seeing Band of Horses in person and while they were fantastic, I think it was the acoustics of the building and possibly the location of our seats, causing a lot of echos to bounce around. I'm looking forward to seeing them in a smaller venue.
